I have always loved the early arrival of spring here. Just last week, before this forecast was available, I heard the birds chirping. They knew somehow that spring was here before the rest of us. They alerted me to the shift. No need for groundhogs here. The chattering of chickadees is my guide.
With our first week of mid 60s days coming up in the forecast it's time to shift your sights to Moab desert adventures. I am a mountain biker and am excited for the exceptionally perfect early spring riding weather. These perfect days in the Moab "off season" are gems. All of the trails are rideable excluding the Whole Enchilada, and with hero dirt to boot!
The campgrounds are empty and waiting. The trails are quiet. The town is sleepy, and yet... all conditions are a resounding "okay to go!" It is time to dust off your bike, or rent a shiny new one from a local shop, and hit the trails. That warm sunshine is ready to boost your vitamin D production and shift your winter hibernation mode to the rebirth of spring. Come over and thaw out in our red rock desert, the chickadees are calling.
